I just started it for fun, there is not a lot of picks yet but give me some time.
The past few weeks have been exciting for me. I started working as a consultant at Limited Brands in the Bath & Body Works design area. It has been great. I get to work on new product labels and stuff. I love being surrounded by other creative people. It sure beats crawling around in sand, lol.
Now that I am home I would like to stat working on my paintings again. I plan to do a whole series from things that stood out to me in Iraq. I have several ideas for some large paintings I want to do. Maybe when I am done I can find somewhere to have a gallery show or something. OK, the other image was bugging me so on my last patrol I swung past my room and grabed my laptop so I could get one of my images.
I had to go home on emergency leave to see my dad who is ill. On my way back to Iraq I had to stop in Germany. I had a day layover there. I took a picture of this cool little car in Frankfurt. It just looked like it would be fun to drive this little thing around.

They were the 38th Engineer Regiment (WWII). For fifty-three years the
group has met at various locations and have renewed old friendships.
On June 10, 1944 they landed on Utah Beach, Normandy as part of the
first Engineer Special Brigade. It was a real honor to meet these men
and listen to their stories. With my unit in the process of deploying I
couldnt help but think this could be me and my buddies when we are
having our reunions.
